That’s a wrap! Our fourth year of operation is in the books. Buffalo Bike Tours emerged from the pandemic hosting more than 1000 people from all around the world on our tours. We kicked off the year unveiling a new mural we created honoring John Young, Buffalo’s chicken wing pioneer and celebrated by sponsoring a Slow Roll Ride.
BUFFALO BIKE TOURS NEW LOCATION
We then moved into The Watchtower, which provided a fun and distinct location for people to meet. Look for more improvements to this site as we roll into next year.
NEW E-BIKE RENTAL FLEET
We bought a fleet of e-bikes, becoming the first Rad Power Bikes affiliate in NY state and flattening the curve for seeing Buffalo on two wheels. To this day, we are the only place to rent e-bikes to the general public in Buffalo.
SO MANY TOURS OF BUFFALO!
In addition to our regular tours, we also hosted special events for local audiences as well. We teamed up with Maria Blair at No Illusions on a special Buffalo literary tour, we partnered with GObike for The Legendary Last Leg bike tour about the Buffalo Waterfront, and with support from the Buffalo Awesome Foundation, produced a free music tour of the city. We also raised almost $2000 for our friends at Burning Books and their efforts to expand the community bookshop, and hosted our annual Haunted Buffalo Ride.

Of course, we’re just getting started and there’s much to look forward to. We’ll be taking a break in the offseason to recalibrate.
